My name is Bobbi Leitsch. I was born and raised in Illinois, and am now living in Appleton, WI. We have been here for 18 years now. Before my sons both joined the military, we really didn't have any connection with anyone serving our country.

I am proud to say that I have now become a proud parent of two U.S. service members (one in the National Guard and one in the Marines); hence my screen name, military mom 2. Our oldest son, James, 21, is in the Wisconsin National Guard with the 2/127 HQ and the other is Jordan, 19, a U.S. Marine 3/1 H&S. We also have a daughter, Jaclyn, 18, who is going to go to college in the fall to work with preschool age children, and is going to be with me during the challenge (while my husband is on a golf outing for work).

Ron and I are Patriot Guard Riders in Wisconsin and have been for almost 2 years now. We stand for those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and for those who are deploying and are serving our country. We are very proud of our young men. Our son James is preparing for his second deployment in the spring and has already been in Iraq for a 15 month tour. Our son Jordan is preparing for his first deployment very soon. Jaclyn is very busy supporting her brothers along with mom and dad and is very proud of them both! You should see all the shirts and sweatshirts we have as a family!
