My name is Denise Fisher and my son who is "MY MARINE " is Lance Corporal William Fisher who is currently stationed in HI. Bill is my oldest. He has a younger sister Alessandra and a younger brother John who are very proud of their brother. Bill has wrapped up his first deployment in Iraqi last spring. He will be deploying again sometime in the fall, possibly to Afghanistan. When Bill first informed my husband and I he was interested in joining the Marines we were not too worried for Bill always researched and gave much thought to anything he did so we knew his mind was made up. One of the saddest days we ever experienced was when Bill left for boot camp. Those 12 weeks were tough on all of us. His graduation ceremony at Paris Island made it all worth it! That day will forever live in our memories as one of the most rewarding and emotional times we ever experienced.
