Jennifer lives in southeastern Washington State (Kennewick) and is the daughter, sister and mother of U.S. Marines. She works in a local real estate office as a secretary and relocation coordinator.

Her oldest son, Robert, joined the Marines in August 2001 and has just extended his enlistment for an additional 2 years. He is an 0311 with a couple of trips to Iraq and one to the Horn of Africa (5th PSC) under his belt.

Jennifer is a very active member of Washington Operation Thank You, a local troop support group in her area.

Jen tells us she is really excited about participating in the BCC and is running in honor of her father, Robert Sherman, brother Gerry Sherman, and of course, her son, Sgt. Robert Plemmons.
